I am a physician and could relate to the imbalance of being a female struggling to find a healthy relationship while providing guidance and treatment for a full schedule of needy patients. Dr. Finkelsteiin, and his mentor Freud, is my favorite comedic character, and very real to the anxieties a physician feels when the practice takes a dip and folks stop coming in; or, as in his case, his patients die.

The lead actress from this series is amazing, she's not only gorgeous but phenomenally talented. The show itself is consistently hiarious (although I find the last two episodes to be almost retarded) -- I am very happy with this purchase, have watched it from beginning to end dozens of times, and will keep it on frequent rotation for years to come.

Ridiculously funny show. I watched it on Showtime when it was on the air. It is just as relevant and entertaining now. I highly recommend it!

This purchase was a train wreck. Before I explain what I mean by that, let me first say that my rating above reflects the specific product purchased and not the show/series. The show is genius! Hilarious! That's why I wanted to own the DVD set myself. However, when I put the "Season 1, Disc 1" DVD in and watched some of the first episode, I knew something was not right. This not the first episode as I remembered it from watching it online a few years ago, so I googled the episode lists. As Iwent through each disc, I realized they are all WRONG. The DVD labeled "Season 1 Disc 1" from the Season 1 box had ONLY Season 2 episodes on it. The "Season 2 Disc 1" & "Season 2 Disc 2" DVDs from the Season 2 box had Season THREE episodes on it. So, NONE of the discs had the correct content on them. In the end, I had seasons 2 & 3 on incorrectly labeled discs and boxes and NO Season 1 at all. Not to mention, and I didn't realize this when I purchased it, the COMPLETE series has THREE seasons in it. This product is called "Compete Series" and states it will send you Seasons 1 & 2, which is NOT the complete series. Ironically, what I actually got was Seasons 2 & 3 only in boxes that said season 1 and 2. Very weird. Very very weird. And such a bummer.

It says it's a complete series. It's not. It's only season 2 and season 3 yet dvds are mislabeled as season 1 and season 2.
